I had excel sheet, i made sure to focus on teamwork and intelligence on my top picks.
Guess my surprise when i open the game and see my current draft. For round 2 i was expecting someone with around 40 intelligence, 40 teamwork, 40 strength and over 45 speed.. i knew scouts are inaccurate So my draft.... has 25 teamwork? How? Scout said its 37.. that is 12 point difference. I then check other stats and they are far off as well... "what is going on, i thought there was max difference between scouts guess and real number" Then i go to my inbox, find the original scout report in case i made mistake when moving stats to excel sheet... yeah... the stats i typed are the same... but wait... what is that country flag... I go to my draft pick and... yes! These 2 players are from different countries. I go back to scout report inbox and search by name... yes there are 2 players with same exact name but different stats and countries. This is kinda on me by not making sure the player i moved near top was the player i wanted - but i trusted this game to have individual names for each player - or if duplicates exist at least single draft having unique names. How should i had known there was possibility for 2 players to have same name? I find it bad design if players have to learn by mistakes. Manager games shouldn't punish players like this. (Also different thing about names i dislike: when managers localize their player name i am unable to easily crossover names on my excel sheet by comparing drafted players to sheet.. i wish draft page would show the old original name as well so its easier to put players in order on your sheet - takes forever to find out which players are still not availalble when finalizing the draft order) I have liked all my draft picks so far - but this one i felt like i made a mistake. At 1st i blamed myself for trusting scout stats too much.... but after i learned that it was different player i move blame more towards game (i still admit there is a slight window where i could had noticed it was different player if i just checked position or age on draft page - but so far i have only had to use names to put them in order) Pls fix |

Hi,
I will try to solve double names for the draft board, even I have no idea how to. To follow a player after he was renamed, you can use the player id. The id is stable, even after a few name changes in a row. But there is no plan to keep the old names, sorry. |

is it possible to make the ID be shown instead of names then?
or have both visible cuz on the draft page you only see ID after round is over or if you check players details on the draftboard where you pick the order you only see position, age, name... and then have to click for details to see more which ofc doesn't solve the issue really since that just increases the work a player has to do.. it doesn't feel intuitive |
