The schedule release happened last night in the NFL (shouldn't have gotten that much hype, but whatever) so now every single game is set. and the predicting can begin.

Today ill do the NFC East, because why not, im most curious here anyway; actually change of plans... one every day leading up to the seasons start? yeah why not?

Lets start with my eagles...

vs Washington
@ Tennessee
@ Chicago
vs LA Rams
vs Jacksonville
vs Carolina
vs Dallas
@ Washington
vs NY Giants
BYE WEEK
vs Pittsburgh
@ Dallas
@ Arizona
vs Indianapolis
vs Seattle
vs Houston
@ San Francisco
@ NY Giants

My first reactions... this last stretch (Seattle, Houston, 49ers) is ROUGH. However, the schedule overall is NOT that TOUGH. I mean the Eagles did NOT GET many favors with the schedule...

Playing the NFC WEST, the AFC SOUTH... i mean two good divisions, the NFC EAST is SOFT (not really though, NY looks promising, Dallas is Dallas, and Washington gets Daniels back and maybe a revamped defense...), and then they also play Pittsburgh, Chicago, Carolina... 2-1 there most likely... so lets put up the Wins and Losses for the Eagles.

vs Washington W
@ Tennessee W
@ Chicago W
vs LA Rams L
vs Jacksonville L
vs Carolina W
vs Dallas W
@ Washington L
vs NY Giants W
BYE WEEK
vs Pittsburgh W
@ Dallas W
@ Arizona W
vs Indianapolis W
vs Seattle L
vs Houston L
@ San Francisco W
@ NY Giants L

WIN-LOSS: 11-6

Ok, so I have the Eagles going 11-6; here is a breakdown of their wins:

Division: 4-2
AFC South: 2-2
NFC West: 2-2
NFC S + N: 2-0
Rando AFC 17th Game: 1-0

Looks pretty decent to me, but if the Eagles can't get off to a hot start, they will be in deep, deep trouble. I mean if they start 1-1 or worse, 0-2, then they may be staring at 0-5 after that Jacksonville game.

However, I do think that the Eagles will have a good season if they can start off about 3-2 or 2-3, because after that Jacksonville game, they can start to rattle off a couple of wins up until the Seattle game (I have them going 7-1 in that stretch, majority of their wins come there).

Totally not the schedule that I wanted the Eagles to have, now that I look and 2nd guess myself, but I believe in that defense, and that offense to do better than last years abomination.

Well, thats all for today, if you have any requests for teams to do next (doing the NFC EAST rn but i can hit other teams sooner) or any questions/comments, let me know!

The Packers play on Thanksgiving and Christmas. For the latter, a Netflix subscription is finally worth it. I analyzed the schedule completely objectively and came to the conclusion that they’ll win more than 16.5 games. 🧀

idk about that... however since you brought them up ill make a preview for the packers as well...

Ill do it in the afternoon (or evening dang i forgot that this is universal so about 22:30 GMT) since im running short on time, but looking at it for a minute or so, they should get around 11 or 12 wins...

however thats just a first glance so might be off a bit...
