One of my DT has good strenght, tackling and vision and the special trait Brick wall, but he has more missed tackles than good tackles. Whats wrong with him?

MAybe explanation is "unclear" and Brick Wall has no to do with tackling

Because we dont have detail available for who was on the field you can not check if he is unluck and face always stronger OLine

Also because we dont have "is pancaced times" for defense you can not know if brick wall is really working

We are in a eraly stage of the game so lot of things are erratic because they are playing soccer and not american football

Participate at powe cup and see if he there also works bad and if he works bad then fire him because he is somehow bad

Brick Wall
Stop them in their tracks! Brick Wall gives a 5% bonus to tackling for DL

I don't want to know how bad he would perform without the bonus.

Possible so be happy you see it now and can obervate this player!

And i know the explanation for brick wall and the other trait but happened to often in past that explanation was not clear and it was some other behind the "written".

Maybe an effect from the footwork introduction and teamwork has also an effect on tackling.

A DL needs str, spe, int, tak, vis and a bit pos.

Teamwork is quite good. Footwork is ok. Intelligenz is poor.

Thanks for this jack!

So here a riddle - both full chemistry for Team and full physical condition.

Player A plays DT:
Tackling 11 - Position 12 - Vision 12 - Speed 33 - Strength 34 - Intelligenz 30 - Footwork 14

Player B plays DE:
Tackling 12 - Position 10 - Vision 13 - Speed 29 - Strength 30 - Intelligenz 14 - Footwork 10

Who should perform better?

Possible results are:

1) Tackles/missed 80/24
2) Tackles/missed 59/53

So who has which perfomance line?

1) Player B (DE)
2) Player A (DT)

But it make no sense to compare DE with DT.

right in guess!

But why not make sense to compare DE with DT?

For me point is not clear: why Player A with better skills and higher INT has more missed tackles.

My impression is, that for DL it is more difficult to play DT than DE. I don't know the reasons. Maybe RB have more success through the middle because of better OG.
