I've had a look at schedules, and my money is on a Texans-Packers Superbowl. The Texans have a tough defense, but would it be enough against Rodgers and co? It should make for a high scoring game though.

In the AFC East, the Jets seem to have found their form just as the Pats are stuttering. I reckon they will just edge the division with the Pats having to settle for a Wildcard. The Bills will probably just miss out, with 9-7 or 10-6.

In the AFC North, I think it will be the Bengals to just miss out in a close fought race with the Steelers and Ravens. Ravens (13-3) to edge the Steelers (12-4) for the title.

The Chargers look to have the firepower to surge ahead in the West as the rest are proving to be inconsistent.

The South is a 1 horse race, the Texans are the class of the AFC in my opinion, and they certainly have no real rival in their division.

The NFC East is interesting, and I see the Giants (10-6) edging the Eagles by just one game, that is of course, only if the Eagles can show what they are capable of more often. 9-7 might be enough for a wildcard, but much hinges on close matchups elsewhere.

Will anyone stop the Packers going 16-0? I doubt it - but at least the fight behind could be very interesting. The Lions are talented, and the Bears are starting to show some fight, and have a great back in Forte. Lions to take the wildcard spot with roughly 10-6.

The South is looking a 2 horse race, and I expect the Saints to be 2-3 games clear by week 17, with the Falcons looking for the 2nd wildcard spot - depending on how their record compares with the 2nd best in the East.

Finally the West is embarrassing - the Niners are efficiently going about their the business nicely with a fairly easy schedule. They have difficult games against teams outside their division to come, but with no competition from within their division they could be looking at a likely 12-4 or even 13-3.

Playoffs 1st round
Steelers vs Jets
Chargers vs Pats
Lions vs Saints
Falcons vs Giants

Packers to beat Texans in a high scoring Superbowl

Texans in the superbowl? Never. And Arizona will win the last 8 games and win the NFC West

My first round:

Jets @ Chargers
Steelers @ Texans

Falcons @ Giants
Bears @ 49ers

SB: Ravens @ Saints

The only reason I put the Texans ahead of the Ravens was their offense - Baltimore's can be a little patchy, Houston's is really starting to gel. Foster and Tate look unstoppable, then they also have a strong passing game if they need it. Baltimore's D is better, but the Texans' D is still pretty damn good!

I hope those 2 teams meet in the Championship game

The question for me is: what makes someone thinking (at the moment), the Packers won't make it to Indianapolis?

The Packers a definitly the best team at the moment. But every good team has a bad day. The Packer will have it in the Playoffs.

The Texans have a very good Running game, but they need a healthy Andre Johnson in the Playoffs. Ray Rice is a Beast like Foster and the conection between Flacco and Boldin is getting better from game to game. A Playoffgame bet the Ravens and the Texans would be interesting, but I think the Texans must first beat the Steelers in the Wildcard round.

Don't think you have to worry about the colts and the cowboys... A painter is no artist and Romo wasn't build for the day.

Can't answer your question about the Packers... Superstitious...

My Niners have beaten Tampa Bay, Philly, and Detroit. Fairly easy schedule? They have played only one team from the NFC West. I would say they haven't gotten to the easy part yet. They are legitmate and have the second best record in the nfl with the best statistical defense in the nfl. Do not dimsiss them too quickly.

Don't know about who will play who but the teams I think that are going to the playoffs are:

Giants
Packers
Saints
Niners
Falcons
Lions

Chargers
Houston
Ravens
Patriots

Tough to decide on the 2 wildcards from the AC but 2 of the following
Jets Buffalo Cinc. Pitt.

Philly pretty much handed you the game with their sloppy play, Tampa are weak offensively - the win against Detroit was indeed a fine effort. Beating Cincy has been shown to be a good result too. The hardest 3 games are still to come - they will show if the Niners are for real!
