I like a lot...

- The different competitions during the season

- Promotion/Relegation

- Variation of training strategies

- Detailed Playbook

My likes are pretty well documented on various threads

- The players all being relatively the same in skill across the board/position

- Playbook situation overlap and only the upper being utilized

- Can be way too complicated for newer managers (especially if you didnt grow up football)

- No Transfer Window (after a certain point in the season.. I feel there shouldnt be allowed any transfers from outside teams.. if you must pick up a player he should be already a free agent or youth)

I like:
-Many kinds of competitions
-A lot of games during a week
-play-offs after regular season
-that better team usually win, but not always
-bot flush
-very active admin making all good job

I don't like:
-ugly interface
-free agents appearing mostly during the night(maybe not so important now, but at the beginning I remember that I would need to be online at night to buy some).
-playing friendly cups isn't free

Maybe I'll edit something later, because don't remember more for today.

Suerte.

Likes:

The pace of the schedule. Enough games to keep me logging in. -TOG-had too few so one log in every few weeks can work there.

I like the playbook in that you can expand more than other places for sure.

I really don't mind the interface, I think once you get used to something it doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.

Not for suck up points, but I really do appreciate the developer's role here. VERY involved, listens to opinions but still sticks to what he thinks is best for the GAME. I firmly believe that if this wasn't true this site would not be successful at all.

Detailed play by play. You can tell if it was a bad throw, dropped pass, great tackle, missed tackle....

Dislikes:

As I have mentioned before, the expanding of the playbook some more in terms of % of run/pass.

MOTY in playoffs.

This might seem weird, but when I click on a team and then go to look at games it takes me to their games. It is a small thing, but perhaps a button that says home page on the side so you go back to your team's page?

Super Cup set up. You play a round robin with a group and have the best record at 12-3 and still not make it into the playoffs. Doesn't make sense.

Overall I really like this game. I've deserted a few of the sims I was playing to devote more time here.

Oh, and I like that fact that it is a ".org" as I can access it at work.

I like the game itself and all these possibilities I don't have in -TOG-

I don't like:
- interface
- no translation (that ruins all attempts to bring here Ukrainian community which is very strong and interesting at -TOG-
- too much games per week (though people seems to like it)
- the game needs too much time comparing with -TOG-(and it's the main reason I'm not a supporter - I'm not sure I'll have the time enough to manage my team properly. now it has been let take its course)

But still pluses>minuses.

More like advice than a con but whatever. I was wondering if we could have a list for an idea of what skills to work on for a specific position. For instance, if I wanted to improve my rb could you point to me which skills I would need to improve my rb? Also maybe if I wanted a scrambling QB or a pocket passing QB you could have lists setup to fulfill these needs.

ok, I admit that I like almost everything of this game, thanks to Peter for the great job done, for all the time he's spending with the community on the forum and for his quick bug-fixing activity

I like:
- NFL league format
- Draft
- Playbook and Depth chart (toma castagna -TOG-)

don't like:
- Supercup format: too many matches, 1x week is enough, better if Tournament format and not Round robin
- Training system: it's a managerial game, we shouldn't be allowed to train all our players...
- Economy: too much money at the beginning, just expand your stadium every week

Pro:

- regional name database (btw. I'm pretty sure that it's written down somewhere, but is it technically possible to rename players you bought on transfer market. I would just love to read only norwegian names on my roster )
- just enough complexity to keep me busy and not overwhelmed
- overall Pro-Football feeling
- (and I love to make up little stories about my team, almost like a RPG, though I'm too lazy to write down in some Press releases)

Con:

- too run-oriented. On the homepage it reads "Want to have a speedy passing attack or is power rushing more your style?". So far you have to play power rushing or at least 60/40 run/pass, and I find that disappointing. I started the season with a 50/50, some games even 40/60 run/pass playbook, but changed that, because it was just not a lot of fun, to not be able to win while relying a bit more on the passing game. A lot of games have this "4 horsemen"-feel to them. A bit too much vintage, if you ask me.

- transfermarket. It's been said a few posts before. Not NFL-like to be able to buy players from other teams during the whole season. There should be a deadline like in the NFL (6 weeks into the season, if I remember correctly).
Another thing about the current transfer-system is the need to be online near the end of the bidding or you almost always lose the bidding war, when you can't log in, because of work, sleep etc.

- MOTY. I'm a little bit undecided on that one. If you don't play full speed, you lose, and most likely get injured.
If there is any advantage, that could be triggered for special games, it should psychological, and not physical. (Something like bonus on morale and teamworkm for example)

The Cons are more detailled, but that's only, because those need explaining.
You're doing a great job with this, Peter!

These guys have said it the way i wanted to say it because im not too smart but can lift heavy things!

MOTY...leave it out of the finals!

I beleive that in gi where you have 1 league match per week makes it exiting and anxious to play and want more games per week, but now this game has the opportunity to play more games per week the exitement isnt there as much...
But it is more detailed and there an admin who is at hand.
I also beleive that this game will change a lot in 2 or 3 seasons to accomodate, to make this the best -TOG- management site !

Thanks Pete for your effort!

First off I'd like to say that I really like this game. I don't really understand those saying it's not as exciting as -TOG-when that game was just a game of chance rather than any actual tactical thinking behind it.

Likes:

1) Depth Chart- No more losing games due to the entire defence not playing just because you accidently missed an injury to one player.

2) Statistics- Being able to see how your players are performing across a variety of stats, including the total career

3) Game Animation- I never minded just the text view of a game before, but being able to watch your team marching up the field is much more entertaining

4) Admin- Having someone who listens to suggestions and perhaps more importantly the problems and who then answers in a quick amount of time is vital to a game like this.

5) League names- Nice to see NFL Europe hasn't been completely forgotten

Dislikes-

1) Layout- Not a major issue and when Peter has said it's something that'll be worked on then it will only improve.

2) Images- Again, only a minor issue. But having a better look at the stadium would be nice, and being able to see the facilities in the area around it would also be good, but not an important improvement.

3) Navigation- Once you click on another team you are locked into their players, games etc when it'd be better to keep the menu at the top for your own team and then have a different way to see their players etc

I still think it's important to remember that this is only season 1 of the live game. Even other games like Hattrick weren't this advanced at that point. Things like not being able to buy players because they're not for sale until the middle of the night will be ironed out as more teams join so all in all I think season 1 has gone well and I'm looking forward to playing for many more
