I have a RB and a FB on the roster, but a HB and a FB on the depth chart. |

Remember back, when we introduced FBs...all testers said: we should move the FB to his own "position group" since the FB is sooooo different from the other RBs... I did that. So now we have an own positional group called FB, consists of one position, called FB. And we have a group RB, consists of HB, and maybe later TBs as example... From this point of view it is right as it is today. I see only one way to fix it: move FBs back to the group of RBs... |

Ok ...
I had a quick look a some NFL rosters and College rosters. NFL: No Groups. All Players are listed on positions. But they still switch players from one to another, most of the time at the offensive line. College: There are groups and positions mixed ... very clever. I understand the benefit of having groups. But TB is not used often anymore ... so why not name the depth chart position RB and reserve the HB for the position which does not exist at the moment, the H-Back, most of the time filled with TE or FB. |

I think TB is no official position in modern NFL. |

Based on definitions I know, each I-formation has its TB...(yes, Tailback). He is the last one on the row, the TAIL.

The only Goupe is sometimes DB (Defenseback), which include CB and SF. I had a look at NFL.com. They have RB and FB as positions. So It would right to change HB -> RB in the DC. |

I have to be careful here...this change (Buffalos suggestion) affects the whole engine. The position picker needs to be rewritten then
