Now weight and height of players are not used in game.

All players are divided for 3 groups by weight and height
For example
Low weight – normal weight (90 - 100 kg) – big weight
Low height – normal height (180 – 190 cm) – high height

Big weight
Improved abilities: strength, blocking, tackling
Penalized abilities: speed, agility, carrying
Low weight
Improved abilities: speed, agility, carrying
Penalized abilities: strength, blocking, tackling
High height
Improved abilities: vision, catching, positioning
Penalized abilities: speed, agility, carrying.
Low height
Improved abilities: speed, agility, carrying.
Penalized abilities: vision, catching, positioning.

This is the first try, of course we needs many time to create the normal model.

P.S. O course, I am know, hwo is Jerome Bettis.

Hm, my thoughts about width and height of players could be read in -TOG-

However, why not. Try to figure all the pros and cons, and we will see how this suggestion will go...

Please don't do this. There are just too many examples to show that there is no relation between height and weight and physical attributes or skills.
I don't want a nutrition center here in RZA.

Pro:
Strength it is not only muscular force. In real football OL and DL – is really big guys. They needs a big weight. They a using the weight in blocking and tackling. OG with 65 kg weight can be killed if he will try to block DT with 150 kg weight. But FS with 130 kg weight nether can to reach WR with 90 kg weight. WR with 205 cm height can easier to catch high flying ball. But WR with 180 cm height can easier to force tackle missing. QB with 160cm height cannot make a pas form the pocket, because he cannot to see WR behind giants-lineman.
Now some of my players are reached the limits in speed or strength. I think many managers have this problem too. By choosing the height and weight managers can create more effective players.
How it can works. Then player moves from youth poll into youth academy. Manager one times can choose height and weight for him. If he want very strong DT, he can choose very told and heavy elefant-man. If he needs Bary Sanders he choose small and light weight guy. For allredy existing players wee can open hiegth and weight changing at one time.

Now I am waiting on the contra.

Con:

It's illogical to choose weight and especially height for players. Just like it's illogical to swap traits on players.
A heavy player might be strong, yes, but he also just might be fat.
Why should a player be slower because of his tall height? If that's a natural fact, than all those 6'4"-6'6" WRs and TEs in the NFL scorching DBs are truely superhuman beings.
Drew Brees isn't the biggest QB in the NFL. Some setback when he got drafted, as some might remember, but I never saw that as a disadvantage as he's proven for some years now.
There are a couple LBs in the NFL, who played/play on an elite level, who didn't have prototypical LB stature. Zach Thomas and London Fletcher come to mind.

I could go on with this, but I think, I made my position against introducing such a feature clear by now.

By the way, half my OL has already capped in strength. The same goes with my two starting WR. And that a lot sooner than I would've liked.
So, actually, I should favor this, but I just can't for the aforementioned reason.

Remember the fastest man of the world is 1,95m. Heigh maybe effect Agility, but not speed.

For now I have no real opinion to this suggestion. May be later.

Basic it is something nice since know it also from GLB

Leads to more different player build overall

But in GLB i start with every player at "0" and build from start but here in Redzoneaction you get players and as we know trait from time to time is total contrar to playerposition

So this had to be make more round especiall because new manager have so lot things to do and check that oculd be total confuse and make them go away

So yes when somehow easy to manage because put in interesting and also know from real life dimensions is always good

This is right but he can only run straight and i dont think he can ever have the talent and build to catch a ball

We are talk here about football common speed so basic this is right that higher players are not so fast

But you have also "super players" in NFL who is high and fast and can catch a ball

So also this is already existing here with the trait "Track Star" for example which would help a big player overcome his speed malus because of size haveing the "Track Star" attribute BUT he would also have a plus then on for example vision and catching
