Let me ask some questions:

Do player get their H/W based on their npos when they are created? Means, RBs height is random, but the average is smaller than on WRs?

No! No! No!
No to H/W ratio!
Big guy and very small can to have the same H/W ratio!

Do players change their weight? Too many steaks -> go to the gym? A nutritioncenter?

I am not sure are we need this...
If need - weight can be changed by fitness trainig.

Is there any staff involved in taking care of the players H/W?

NO FOR H/W

Does a 2m WR always (excluding small RNG) win the catch over his 1.7m CB?

Not always. But many times.

My idea.
2m WR vs 180 cm CB
the 1-st pass - catched and tackled, 6 yards progress.
the 2-nd pass - catched and tackled, 8 yards progress.
the 3-d pass - catched and tackled, 4 yards progress.

170 cm WR vs 180 cm CB
the 1-st pass - ball deflected by CB.
the 2-nd pass - ball deflected by CB.
the 3-d pass - catched, CB tackle missed, 45 yards pass, touchdown.

Is a newbee screwed when he only gets 1,5m WRs? Or can he adapt his gameplay somehow to fit more to the size of his squad?

The 1,5 m WR only have to leave football team.

It's illogical to choose weight and especially height for players. Just like it's illogical to swap traits on players.
A heavy player might be strong, yes, but he also just might be fat.
Why should a player be slower because of his tall height? If that's a natural fact, than all those 6'4"-6'6" WRs and TEs in the NFL scorching DBs are truely superhuman beings.
Drew Brees isn't the biggest QB in the NFL. Some setback when he got drafted, as some might remember, but I never saw that as a disadvantage as he's proven for some years now.
There are a couple LBs in the NFL, who played/play on an elite level, who didn't have prototypical LB stature. Zach Thomas and London Fletcher come to mind.

I could go on with this, but I think, I made my position against introducing such a feature clear by now.

By the way, half my OL has already capped in strength. The same goes with my two starting WR. And that a lot sooner than I would've liked.
So, actually, I should favor this, but I just can't for the aforementioned reason.

It is not main factors.
Now abilities are limited by talant.
My offer.
For example.
With normal height and weight player have all limits as 40.
You increase him weight up to 150 kg - him strength limit increase up to 60, but him speed limit decrease downto 20.

According to this it would be just like in -TOG-the last time I played over there. Force-feeding your players or putting them on a strict diet.

. If there were some W/H (which I don't really support), I'd like that players have a determined H/W at the beginning that you won't change really excepted with physical condition (bad PC, more W, bad H/W ratio and so penalty level). And concerning speed and strength the W/H could be used to define caps instead of random values

For all!
H/W VERY STUPID IDEA!
Height 200 cm weight 100 kg - H/W is 2
Height 160 cm weight 80 kg - H/W is 2

This is not a same!

This is an no go, absolutely.

It shouldn't be that way. Much more the YP is ready to use (H/W), and you can s e l e c t if you want a tall and fat one or not!

"I would like to have a youngster, pls" - "here we go, let me introduce Paul Johnson to you" - "Great, my new RB..." - "What size and weight would you like to have for Paul?"

I am sorry...
I am not understud you...
Can you to use another words?

Sure the basic is interesting but your example is not realistic!

Darrelle Revis is only 180 and R even big ones would be happy to have 3 catches in row against him

I can think of more like "add skill values to base" like in GLB base on H and W and then this skill value come into calculation as is at the moment

If be possible to change W? Sure another interesting dimension to build player especially from youth academy but could get game to complicate

But complicate is no problem for me but we have to think of all

Sorry, A big no from me on this one. In today's world there are too many examples of fast and big guys. Besides, why would we want to add another layer of complexity in he beginning of this? For new people they already have enough to figure out.

I'm also afraid that an even more complex game would make newbees leave. However, if we should implement this I think that the only suitable way would be to make the height and weight fixed. If you combine fixed values (like tw &int) with a manual that defines what's most suitable for each positition, it could be it's easier to choose what position you should give each player in the beginning.
