There are Fieldgoal rules, if clock less than 30secs, and DISTANCE TO GOALLINE < 50

So all is fine here, even it looks odd. His opp has probably the same.

The only thing that should be corrected is the -4 seconds on the game clock.

Wasn't the problem. He had a punt on opp 28 yards (3QT I think) during the game. Whereas he said his order was FG for less than 45 yards

theres nothing wrong. u were at 28 yard line.
plus 10 yards of endzone (goal is at the end of endzone, not at the goalline)
plus 7 yards (where the kick is made - behind the spot of the ball)
it would make a 45 yard field goal.

and your order was to kick if the kick distance was shorter than 45.

Nope the order is without the 17 yards... So it's wrong. less than 45 means less than 62 attempts

order is the kick distance, so with 17 yards
playbook rule is checking where the ball is spotted, so without 17 yards.

28 yards + 17 yards (offset and endzone) = 45 yards...the rule says "less than 45"...note the LESS THAN! sometimes 1 yard is the difference, regards to all titans fans

The orders in playbook don't count the 17 yards more... But maybe in Game settings...

Playbook: Distance to Goalline, not distance for Fieldgoal! You have to add the 17 yards for the fieldgoal distance. 50 yards distance to goalline results in a 67 yards fieldgoal attempt

Match orders: Fieldgoal distance. You have to calculate -17 yards to know where the ball is spotted. 50 yards fieldgoal attempt, will be on the 33 yard line of the opponent.

We cant do it similar on both things. In the playbook it wouldnt make any sense to ask for fieldgoal distance, since the fieldgoal is one out of many different decisions a manager could make. And in the match orders we are asking explicit for fieldgoal distance, and thee is a help button that gives more explanation.

I am sorry

Yep Kottan did the same mistake than me... Quite disturbing to have two different setups!

Now I remark. It is very confused. But I learned and added the fieldgoal situation into to playbook and then I hope that I never will have the same problem in the future.

I wonder why I dont had the same in season 1. Hmm, I dont know.

Ok, thanks for learning.

This situation happens only if both managers have such "crazy fieldgoal distances" in their playbook. You go for it, miss it. The other goes for it, misses it too, and so on...
