Now I remark. It is very confused. But I learned and added the fieldgoal situation into to playbook and then I hope that I never will have the same problem in the future.

I wonder why I dont had the same in season 1. Hmm, I dont know.

Ok, thanks for learning.

This situation happens only if both managers have such "crazy fieldgoal distances" in their playbook. You go for it, miss it. The other goes for it, misses it too, and so on...

I dont talk about the last minute fielgoal try. I talk about the non played fielgoal attempt on the opp 28 yd line on fourth down. That was misterios.

But You ask about suggestions, too:
You talk that you create a playbook for newbees. And in this playbook there is a fieldgoal rule. And then we dont need the fieldgoal setting on the game settings.

There is a fieldgoal rule in, if less than 40 yards away from the GL.

If there are ideas how to make it better, just tell me

in the drop down box for selecting distance add a "-to goalposts" to the strings there. So it's 30 yards to goalposts, 20 to goalposts, etc.

In my case what i haveis not a non attempted field goal but something that should have been a punt:

0:53 3 and 10 to go on opp 47, Vicente Miranda (OC) snaps the ball to Cosme Arias (QB), who hands off to Calixto Salas (HB/L), he starts running over the left end, Guyton Westby (DE/R) breaks through, Calixto Salas (HB/L) tackled by Saúl Oliver (OLB/R), forward progress: 5 yards (Pro set vs. 4-3-4)
0:16 Ulises Iglesias (K) kicks the ball for the Fieldgoal, 59 yard Fieldgoal missed

match was set to field goal when distance <40. How do i set a punting order on the playbook when distance to goaline is higher than lets say 35? the distance to goal line thing in the playbook is only less than. What, i have to create a rule for FG and then a rule for punting with "any" distance to goalline? Right now i sure as hell dont have a kicker that can handle 59 yards.

Put a rule in for kicking the fieldgoal when less then 35 to goalline
Put another rule BELOW the fieldgoal rule for having the punt

The first rule matching the criteria is used by the engine. So if the distance is higher than the fieldgoal rule allows it to be, the punting rule would kickin.

man.... i'm confused as all heck on this FG thing. I dont understand why all options cant be by where the ball is away from the goalline? All other play options are done by that measure.. it doesnt add anything to the managers decision by having this one particular play option be calculated differently...

If a manager is confused or doesnt know how far the particular FG is from that yard mark then there should be a help or an asterisk indicting the actual FG distance for clarity.
