Very simply put, you have copied your new roster into the ground zero page vs the roster page... it is the only possible explanation, as att imprv is the difference between roster and ground zero... placing the new roster on the ground zero page is the only way to make these attributes greater than the roster, and provide a negative number...

If this is not the case, please PM with your details...

Dude, do you realize how useful this tool is for organizing the draft board?

That's a good idea. It will be interesting to see how close my ordering was to what this spreadsheet thinks it should be.

Not just that, but remember you can change what the skill weights are and what is included in the primary and secondary skills. I found I changed a lot as positioning wasn't in many of the positions on the spreadsheet. If what you value is there then inputing the draftees will allow you to order them. In addition, like you said, it will be interesting to see what the draftees skills are in the areas you think are important and not important. It will take some time transferring the data to a spreadsheet, a drawback.

Yeah, I just went through and edited all the of skill weights and primary/secondary totals. Looking at the draftees, I was surprised at some of the weights I came up with as compared to how I had thought of them. I'm sure this editing will continue next season when I look at the draftees again.

Now my problem is going to be expanding the Player Table to accommodate the 96 man "roster" as well as the extra players in each position. Does anyone have a tip on doing that quickly and easily?

Click on the number 71 (this highlights the entire row)
right click and s e l e c t insert (this adds a row above the highlighted row, and again for as many rows as you need)
now on the first row above the added rows, click on column a and drag mouse to far right block of the row... when all rows are selected at bottom right corner of last block your cursor should change to a + sign, when that happens, click and drag down for the amount of blocks added (this drags down the formulas to the added blocks)...
At this point go back to column B and change OL10 to OL11 in the formula bar, and do this for all rows added

Hope that is simple enough...

Also this will apply to Depth Chart, CarreerRating, Att Impr sheets, as well as your groundzero sheet...

Don't work...
I've expanded the sections: on my "player table" I see all the players, but the players 11-16 don't have a rank (only a ###)...

Check column Y and make sure your formula looks similar to this...
=IF($B61="","",RANK($U61,$U$61:$U$70)) What you will be making sure is that the last value $U$70 actually incorporates you total lines... Maybe it should be U74 or 75 or 76 in your case... The dollar sign keeps the value from changing, and you may have to manually change this in your ranking column...
Hit me with an private mail if this doesn't fix it...

Ah yes... You've changed the # of OL and this applies to any other position... Now we have to change the Name OLS so depth chart recognizes all of the new guys...

Click on Formulas tab at top...
Now click on Name Manager...
Click on OLS
At the bottom of block there is a line that says where the name "REFERS TO" with a data line... Simply change that line also from AA70 to AA76 or wherever your new last OL entry is and click the check mark to accept...

Please mail me with the particulars for your ### entries... I suspect you're talking about the team averages blocks but not exactly sure...

Interesting, some of my players had a negative one the core value monitor.

it is typical if you changed any of your "attribute emphasis" on your player page as this will impact core values, but did not do it on the ground zero core page...
Also occurs when Pete makes an in game adjustment which has happened in the past, but was announced...

texat1suf wrote:
open formulas tab
click name manager
scroll down to locate "table 2" and click it...
you should see this - =GroundZero!$B$1:$BA$78
you simply change the 78 to 90 if you like to allow for other growth... or you can begin to delete some guys you've sold or fired...
once changed, you click the check mark to accept...

Just putting it here so people don't have to go digging for it if they want it.

OK, I've expanded all of the positions in the PlayerTable and GroundZero Core to 10-20 depending on the position. My problem is that only the players through row 78 in the Roster are showing in the PlayerTable. I've followed the instructions above and changed the formula to 98 rows, but it didn't seem to help. My team spreadsheet only has to row 71, so I don't know if its happening there as well or not. Any ideas?
