How does this work in the YA? When a player hits 20 years old on the season rollover will he go to the market as a free agent on that same season rollover? Or can he stay in the YA for the next season and get trained? Also when exactly does he get 1 year older and become a free agent? Basically when the calendar says season rollover it's a good idea to move him to the senior team, or before it says SR, or 1st/2nd/3rd day of SR?

20 year olds will leave your team unless you promote/send them to your senior team prior to EOS rollover; and they will leave during the EOS and will probably become FAs. FAs do not appear on the transfer list right away - there is a large pool of FAs and the game engine feeds a few of them into the system, usually daily. So your 20yo will disappear for at least a while.

If you have 20yos in your YA, your Coaches Assistant will be giving you a "Hint" about it on the bottom tool bar.
