I have one YA player that I'm dumping all my pts into because he's potentially my QB of the future. Presumably that's the right thing to do, right?
I mean, You don't get more overall training by spreading the YA pts around right? So my question is, for the other players (if their salary are pretty low and they're not getting additional training), am I better off promoting them and paying the salary so they can get the experience in friendlies or is being in the YA still inherently better somehow? If the player isn't an immediate upgrade to your team, don't promote him.
That's my opinion. |

i dump my points into my oldest YA player. on the point of when to promote, then i dont think anyone can give a solid answer.
I just train physicals to cap before age 20. if i had a position in my team that was low on players and my YA had one i might promote early but other than that dont see any other plus. |

Well, spreading the points around doesn't seem beneficial to me because even with a maxed YA (which I have) you only get 37 points which is a decent little bump for one player, but if you spread it out the impact isn't much.
I have one player I concentrate on for physicals until they reach 35 each then move on to the next player. I promote when I have a need. When one of my YA players matches or exceeds an older player I bring them up to replace them. |

So does that mean the experience gained by playing friendlies is more than offset by the "extra trianing points"?
