What is the max. level of YA? 4,5, or 6?

Thanks

MANUAL: "There are 4 levels available for the Youth Academy."

edit: Too Slow!

It seems this is not really clear. It means there are 4 levels to upgrade.

Once more

Level 0 : Basic Academy

Level 1 : After upgrade 1
Level 2 : After upgrade 2
Level 3 : After upgrade 3
Level 4 : After upgrade 4

I changed that sentence to "There are 4 upgrade levels available for the Youth Academy."

Thanks a lot !

Yep, It wasn´t very clear in the manual.

Then I will get, if I count correct, 170 points (HC=92 CP and 9 AC).

I wrote a news about the change in the manual, so it should be ok now for all.

What is the formula for the number of points you get?

Kind of curious...how much coaching salaries can a team afford, assuming they've built out their stadium?

Look at page 2 of this thread.

TombKing wrote the formula.

Any idea when the coaches will be activated in terms of starting to have an effect on the YA?

It is scheduled to switch over on the 9th.

From Admin's initial post on this...
"X+21 days (9th of January):
I will switch off the old coaches, there will be a payback of the initial hiring costs from them. At the same time the training is switched to the new coaches, and the booking of HC/AC wages will become active. Youth pulls will be better if ACs are existing for the position. "

Now I'm wondering, if you're in contract mode, is it better to promote your star before he's too highly skilled and offer him a long-term contract when his skills are relatively low and get a cheap salary...or max his skills out and pay him a mint?

I guess most of the salary generating skills are limited to 35??

Well, if we are still talking about a kid in the TA, you have to promote him to senior squad to enter contract negotiation.

You might consider training some of his secondary skills once his primary start to go over 25-ish so that when you promote and go to negotiate his demands don't take your breath away. Then, once you've locked his contract up, train the heck out of primary skill. (And don't think about his next contract costs!)

You know what your draftees demand, and they are all around 25 on their primary skill, so you have an idea of what it'll cost to sign Megatron Jr.
