Well, if we are still talking about a kid in the TA, you have to promote him to senior squad to enter contract negotiation.

You might consider training some of his secondary skills once his primary start to go over 25-ish so that when you promote and go to negotiate his demands don't take your breath away. Then, once you've locked his contract up, train the heck out of primary skill. (And don't think about his next contract costs!)

You know what your draftees demand, and they are all around 25 on their primary skill, so you have an idea of what it'll cost to sign Megatron Jr.

Yeah...that was what I was considering. Promoting him before his skill costs get to outrageous.

So, with HC 84, 7 ACs and YA 1, I will have more than 101 CP?

trainingpoints=( ( youthacademy level + 1 ) * 5 ) + (HC CP / 2)

trainingpoints=( ( 1 + 1 ) * 5 ) + (84 / 2)

trainingpoints=2 * 5 + 42 = 52

52 * 1.1 = 57 * 1.1 = 63 * 1.1 = 69 * 1.1 = 76 * 1.1 = 84 * 1.1 = 92 * 1.1 = 101

But take care because this works only with HC with 5* EXP and 5* TC for sure

It is not HC CP you need to take it is the HC FINAL-CP you need to take as base...

But im sure everyone besides me did read the manual and understood it the way its meant to be - only me with my porr englisch had again the understand error.

What? Where does it say the 5 cons. and 5 exp makes a difference for training points?

Last chapter of the coaches manual:

Exp-Factor = 1 + ((EXP - 40 ) / 100 / 2)
rand_con=1 + (rand(0 - (55-CON),(55-CON)) / 100 / 5)
EXP-CON-factor=Exp-Factor * rand_con
Final-CP = CP * EXP-CON-factor

The calculation is done once per event. This means, if a coach gets a bonus based on consistency, the actual CP used will be the same for the complete training of all players, or for a complete game. There are no recalculations based on consistency during the same event.

The YA-Points are calculated based on the HC-CPs!

Sure? Arent the YA Trainingpoints not Trainingpoints?

So for all Trainingpoints EXP and CON are important too

"Coaches affect the Training Points in the Youth academy

Your HC gives you a bonus on the Training points you could spread among your youngsters.

trainingpoints=( ( youthacademy level + 1 ) * 5 ) + (HC CP / 2)

No HC translates as HC CP = 0!

For each AC you hire the training points will be raised by 10 percent and the result will be rounded up/down to the next even number. Then the next AC adds 10% to that result and so on. "

I don't see anything about exp or con affecting youth training points.

Exp and con can affect game play and wages....

CON and EXP affects EACH single event, even the training points. This is why it has an own chapter in the documentation, and why TRAINING is mentioned there.

Not trying to be a pain in the butt here, but I read through all of the coaches section in the manual and there is no mention whatsoever of exp and con affecting training points. It isn't in the formula nor is it written in any text. So now I am really confused as to how exp and con could affect training.

Please check the last chapter. There we are mentioning about how to incorporate CON and EXP, and that we do this on each event, even the training! Training points: Training. And we are telling, that CON and EXP is limiting the final CP somehow (by formulas). This is why there is no question (for me at least) that you have to calculate the HC con and exp to get his final CP, and to use that value in the training point calculation.

Please provide that one sentence you would like to see there, to make that more clear.
