It is not that hard.

There are physicals, playskills, and tacticals.

Each position uses at least 1 item out of each group.

Don't underestimate the power of tacticals and physicals.

Physicals are high on my list as evidenced by my requirements above. Tacticals are the hardest ones for me to gauge.

The hard part isn't necessarily figuring out which ones to train, rather how much to train them compared to the other needed skills. I understand it is trial and error and that we coaches will figure things out later on.

I'm trying to keep tacticals at about 50% of primary skill. So Carrying 25; Vision 12 for example.

Once I get close to maxing a primary skill, I'll up that ratio to 70% or more...so Carrying 35, Vision 25 for example.

I figure it will give me a better balanced RB at a bit less salary than a Carry 42/vision 18 RB.

Exactly, in RL football that rb has to have vision to see cutback lanes, developing holes, and alternate paths if the oline is getting handled. Open field vision is also important.

Ok, in RL.
But in RZA?

The draft players have high positioning, but no high vision...

Sure? At least for me look not primary but not low priority like "nice to have"

Its somewhere in between know as "useful" i would say

Well, Peter said at least one tactical, one physical, and one play skill.

I think tacticals include vision, footwork, and positioning (it was in -TOG-. I wouldn't think that positioning is the one that is more important and therefore not used. So out of vision and footwork...vision makes more sense.

For RB i have at moment

Tier 1
Agi Pos Car Spe

Tier 2
Str Vis

Tier 3
Foo

Tier 4
Cat Blo

Interesting how different managers can have different opinions

So in long run this will make difference in success

From my draft RBs (all 2.5 stars):

Vision:
14,4
15,8
14,3
12,6

Positioning:
19,4
20,7
16,5
21,4

I think Pos is better to have, for a RB, than Vis.
