Hi, i´m working around my playbook and i noticed certain issue that cant understand. I have this two plays:
Quarter...Down...ToGo...DistGL...Clock...Playtype
.....OT.....any.....any......<45.......<30......FG....
.....OT.....any.....any......<45.......any.....Rush...

I understand that this means that i will rush the ball unless the clock will be with less than 30 secs to finish the OT. Howewer in this situation when i check the playbook, i always throw a fieldgoal. Basically, what i´m doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

first of all i do not understand your problem but i am going to try answer you any way

the overtime do never end except when point is scored so your Clock <30 do never come
if this do not give you the answer then we need to wait until someone understand you can give you the answer (at least i try)

As far as i know, overtime rules are the same as in NFL, so if after the 15 mins of OT no one scores, the match finish in a tie.
OFC dont know if overtime rules are the same here.

There is no time in OT so time based priorities do not work. It says it somewhere I know I think in the actual playbook page or the manual. But it does say it there.

Wow - impressed anyone knew that (other than Admin).

I'd suggest that unless you kicker is very consistent from long range, you might be best off dropping the FG distance down by 10 or 15 yards.

I just changed mine from 40 yds to 35 yds.

Agree on that, I did the playbook on the assumption that overtime rules were the same than in NFL.

Thanks fo the answer

I think I read somewhere that the distance for kicking field goals is not where the line of scrimmage is but it is where the kick would take place from. So wherever the line of scrimmage is plus 17 yards. So if you set a field goal to a distance of 10-15 yards you will probably never actually go for a field goal.

Games in RZA can never finish with having a TIE! This is a difference to the NFL ruling then. Could someone point me to an oficial site containing the overtim rules, pls? I would like to add the difference in the FAQ

What one?

Regular season or Playoffs

And would you implement the more complex Playoffs also?

Regular season: First team scores wins

Playoffs:
1) First team scores TD wins (either on offense or defense)
2) If first drive ends with anything than TD (see 1), then other team gets also a drive
