But we hope for the best. And we won't miss the game. (We have another option to watch if the game itself only causes pain and tears.  ) |

Have to admit, I am quite surprised after having a review of yesterday "Internation challenge" played by the Dresden Monarchs versus the Obic Seagulls - brought to TV by Eurosport2. We lost as expected. 17:29...but we knew that before. But seeing the new QB Warren Smith in action, made me smile when thinking about the Monarchs future. This guy is so strong on leading, on passing and still on rushing...the guy from Eurosport called him a "down flaterate"
Damn, if he can get more adjusted timings with his guys, this will become a nice season, finally. He is only the 4th day in Dresden, and had some quite nice moves. I am quite surprised on our Defense Backfield, these brave guys limited the deep plays of the strong agile superfast japanese in a quite impressive way, too.
A perfect day, even I couldn't attend the game. But knowing about the Monarchs in good QB hands again, and seeing Munich losing with the last penalty shot....you cannot expect more out of one day |

It was a perfect day! And the team of the Monarchs so impressive! We wished they had played half this way in Düsseldorf.... they had won without any question!
"Down flatrate"? What a nice name! Hope this will last for the future. But we enjoyed the game so much! The Defense was impressive and we do not know what the hell happened this week but whatever it was, we hope they do it the rest for the season.
See us for the RZA user group meeting on 2nd of June!
PS: Were thinking of you last night when we had been in the stadium knowing you could not attend. Nice to know you had the chance to see Eurosport 2 instead. |

I had a live ticker via Radio Monarchs@Facebook and a mate from the MNRX staff (Mike). He gave me a short call right after the match. After being back home at midnight, guess what the first action was
