OK, Kiel is winning the game, and Dresden had never a real chance to stop Deed. This was the key. Now, I am a "Hall"-Fan in 14 days, when the German Bowl happens in Berlin. However, this season makes me proud of "my" Monarchs. The staff dd a good job, the imports were integrated well into the core team, we had a great season - and most important: we beat Berlin Adler during the season. Ok, welcome to the Unicorns. But if you want to see you as a Unicorns fan for the final, then you still have a job. You have to learn this song. Sorry, the announcement in this video is in German. Enjoy it. |

Congrats to the Unicorns...
Have to admit: I really enjoy the upset...not for the Kiel players, but a few arrogant fanatics of Kiel...priceless! I am sorry for this type of sportsmenship... |

That last play was deffinitely an incomplete pass, not a fumble. And that about sums up the refs in the game.

I just found a eurosport2 link between all the NCAA streams and figured what the hell, it's a bowl game, should be fun to watch.
It was really funny actually, especially with who seemed to be an american commentator. You could feel he was used to a different level of football, and he did a few stabs here and there to let you know. Like how kickoffs were really weak, or when he said the team's defensive coordinator are practically nonexistent allowing so many points in a game. But the refs had a couple of questionable calls especially that last incomplete which was ruled a fumble and sealed the win for the Unicorns. But with no replays available to use I can't blame them. |

Yep, actually such things happen everytime when you compare professional structures of NCAA or NFL Football with GFL football. It is a different level, much less physics, much less professional structurs, but not less fun.
