OK, so hereis the thing.
We have up to 22 youth players, doing nothing than push ups and crunches for 3-4 years until putting on a shoulder pad and start playing. So why not have a youth team, where you can let them play, gain exp and maybe even increase their skills? This would a) be fun b) be more realistic c) eleminate the youth players from the senior roster (or not, don't know) To get this complete I would renew my suggestion to let the kids be trained by the best AC on staff per skill. This would solve often position switches and heavy micro managemnet. Ideas? |

I think almost the same as the first team.
BUT there should be no benefits for a manager that opens a Youthteam over a Manager that doesn´t do it. That means no further devolepment of the youthplayers than the regular Youthacademy. Perhaps a little experience Bonus just for the work The Roster shouldn´t be allowed over a specific amount of players for example 25. It should not be possible to start a Youthteam if you don´t have maxed your Youthacademy, to stop Rookies from doing to much on the same time, if you are long enought here to have the money to max your YA go with a Youthteam Still only 6 Players should be allowed to go to the Seniors a Season. |

I would go with all players <23 and not only YA-players. If you have no money for all 4 YA-levels, you can't participate in such a competiton.
Than no-out-of-posiiton penalty. So you can play with a player on offense and defense, if you have less players. |

I think there should be a little benefit for investing extra time on the youth team. I think exp gain would be fair. Skill gain is maybe too much. |

gain exp On a slower rate than senior team players, yes. jack6 wrote:

Also I'm playing with the idea to let managers choose between managing a youth team or a senior team when they register, but not both. At the end of their "youth career" these players would get drafted by senior teams, so no more randomly generated draftees. Or be able to have both teams, but YA members would become the draftees, so managers would be trainaing players for everyone not just themselves...what do you think? |

-PC-hit The only problem with this is usually you don't train PC until the player is in the YA. This would take away a lot of training days to get it up close to 100%, and maintain it. In which case a lot of managers wouldn't participate in this youth league/youth-cup. |
