Sure about that?

Flashy things always attract people. So yes, I'm quite sure. Even if they don't stay due to the depth and time it requires, at least more people will give it a shot over the other AF sims...

It's not as most needed as the depth and tactical itself.

Don't get me wrong, I totaly agree with you there. Personally I couldn't care less if this site stayed like this for they next 10 years to forever...

I think most of us are in agreement that this game CANT be just specifically for the hardcore/unlimited amounts of hours to explore/"I dont care about graphics" crowd.

Sure us posting on these boards fall into on atleast one of those but theres nothing wrong with growth as long as RZA doesnt change what RZA is about. I really liked sf8888 suggestions on this thread about what could be done to keep initiates. You have got to throw them bone.. because people coming here probably dont have precursors on what exactly the game is about and couldnt give a d*mn about its potential.

I think its an absolute necessity to have an initial playbook (maybe give them a template option based on how they want to run their team) and an initial depth chart... just for starters. Maybe have a more involving "hint" tab for initiates that highlight aspects that more involved managers may already keep tabs on. (IE stadium building.. when best to upgrade youth academy.. reminding them of you pull and training pts etc.)

Also because I can see some of you are old mates (mates as in friends not married couples) from -TOG- Was wondering what some of your pals still in -TOG-think of RZA since I'm sure they probably know of it by now. And if they've tried it and didnt like it what were their reasons?

The playbook is now automatic for newbies.

When I started I thought the manager license was nice, but I still had a lot of questions after finishing it. But the license idea is great! Is there some way to see what it's like? Coz I don't remember...

I'm bittersweet about the automatic playbook now though... Not that it's a bad thing.. but I lost my first 6 or 7 games because i butchered it something awful.

Its a rite-of-passage everyone should go through.

oh its a fantastic implementation.. now i'm proposing reparations for those of us who lost out on cash and endured emotional stress due to the lack of playbook options in the beginning.

or are you not a man of Justice?
