And yes, I would play without DC  4) Maybe the winners of AFC and NFC should be the coaches 5) Coaches is only for tactic decisions, roster should be selected by statistics of players |

Someone might what an experience gain for his player. Or even the virtual money from the tickets, who knows. .... 2) I didn't meant how to fill it, I meant which manager? You answered that as a possibiity for 4) 3) And I also don't think that stats are the key. A good player in a tough division will have worse stats than a worse player in a BOT div. This aspect is also very tricky in games, since there is never a chance to do it right. Should be an algoritm, which is fine for all. |

I like the Probowl idea.
I guess, that from the Databank the 5-10 best players (Playerrating) of every position where selected and than the managers can vote for their favourites. The players with the most votes play in the Probowl. The Coaches for the ProBowl could be the loosers of the Conference championchip. I would play only one Probowl per region and not per league. With the selection based on the playerrating, a player from Div.2 has the same chance. |

Would rather see the service broken up into 4 or 8 regions and play some sort of world cup. As in real life, the Pro Bowl is pointless. The only reason the NFL does the Pro Bowl is because basically no other nations play so there is no international competition. That is not the case here. |

Oooh yes, this game can be simulate by using the Starter-Playbooks, which you can download and without a DC. The players for each teams could be s e l e c t by the MVP Points of last saison. So, we need no manager for these teams. And therefore there is no discussion like that: Why is my QB not nominated in the Pro Bowl Team? |

If there is absolutely no involvement of human players, if there is no turnaround for players....what's the reason of having a Pro Bowl? |

I do not prefer "automatic" selection, I would be happy either way. Human manager sounds good, too. However, "automatic" may be less biased, in case the formula is well constructed.
In an "automatic" selection I could imagine players being selected based on high MVP points, total yardage (League leaders), total touchdowns, total number of tackles, sacks or interceptions. Further, teams with good winning records may be awarded additional slots. Also teams sporting a Top5 offense or defense (based on yardage) may be awarded with extra Pro Bowl players. I would also look forward to the Pro Bowl game itself. It will be well satisfying to see Galaxy AC beating up Galaxy NC, year in your out!
