I'm curious as to whether a players usage rate is a direction reflection to the amount of experience they gain on the field.
One example I'll use is I've noticed that a lot of managers have minimal if not 0 pass plays in their playbook. So would QBs who go games without even attempting a pass get the same exp as a manager who's QB throws the ball 30 times a game? Or if you have in your sub patterns dont sub unless below 50%.. would those players game more exp than a manager whose sub patterns are for below 90%? If the answer to these is they gain the same experience than I think that's an unfair assessment. Basically if your managerial style is such that your imbalanced than I think the experiences of your players on the field should reflect that. Not that it's a good/bad thing as that particular manager will gain exp to a greater extent for his primary positions than the more balanced manager... but it should be a choice with proportionate outcomes. Where am I in all this? |

Quite right in my opinion...
But in other side... In model based on number of plays/time on field, QBs would be exp monsters... While TE (not shown in many formations, or mostly only one TE on the field) would be soooo under-exped. Last edited on 2012-01-19 22:33:24 by Kethian |

Only QBs who actually do Qb things... like throwing the ball.
And its true not all TE's would gain equally... only TEs who are out there doing TE things. |

But a qb has mor eto do than throwing.
He directs the offense. So why not give him exp for hand off, quick decisions and no fumble snaps? |

Option QB throw 4-6 Times a game so i think they get less xp on throwing but more xp on Vision and carrying
