It is just a fact that in germany some people are not so relaxed on statements connected somehow to the WW2. For myself I have to learn again and again that other nations are a bit more relaxed on such things. Hope this explains it somehow The British are famously very careful not to go on about that, in case it causes upset - (I've been told by German and Austrian friends that Fawlty Towers is quite popular in their neck of the woods - so I trust that this genuinely does not cause upset)

By the way: It is not the way that we german feel ashamed speaking about Hitler and stuff, so it is in general no problem at all to mention the war. We were just raissed to not make fun of it because it is way too serious. |

Besides being easier, if the balance turn in red in the finance u p d a t e the bank had to cover part of expenses, gives us a loan, loans have an interests. Believe me, these guys do not do anything for free
