I would like to inform you about this new group of selected managers.

The Board of Advisers should help me to discuss things that are not ready to put it to the public, and it should help me to keep track of developing this game into a successful sim on the web.

I won't reveal the names of current Board members yet. But I can assure you of three things.

1.)
A Board member doesn't know more than the regular members of the community. We won't discuss things like "skill x for player y", much more we discuss about global things like "should we introduce feature XY the way it was suggested", and to prepare such hot discussions as we had some days ago for the economy.

2.)
Each decision we make will pass the whole community before we introduce it. There is no "hidden development" or something like that. So you can be sure you will learn about new features in details - and the Board members won't have any advantage, except they know the manual a bit earlier than you.

3.) The fact I did not invite YOU doesn't mean anything about how valuable you are as a part of this community - w make no difference in that by counting posts or counting the money you paid for or.... I would have invited many more than I have now, but it doesn't make any sense to have "hundreds" of managers in there.

Several questions might come up, please post them, and I will try to answer them.

Q: How can I become a member?

A: Members get invited, you can't send your CV to become a member of the board

Q: What is the base for the decision to become a member?

A: Forum activity, english, and good knowledge of the game. Another factor: bigger country communities have a better chance to send a member of their community to the board.

Q: Does the board make all decisions behind closed doors?

A: Yes and no. We prepare polls, suggestions and decisions. But we do not judge behind closed doors to tell you the result of the internal voting. Much more you will be involved in most decisions as you are today.

I'm not after being a member of the board, but I will say what I think for free .

It's a lot like the line of work I was in over 15 years. There are property managers and leasing agents, and then there is the maintenance department for an apartment community.

It is the duty of the property manager and leasing agents to attract a new resident to rent an apartment, using all of their skills available to do so. If they succeed, a person will sign the contract to rent the apartment. If the managing office is strong and solid, they will be able to convince a possible tenant that they are happy with a model apartment they may have seen, and are convinced to be confident that if anything goes wrong, the management will make sure it gets taken care of.

It is now the duty of the maintenance department to be there when something goes wrong in their apartment. It could be something as simple as a light bulb that is broken, or that their water heater needs to be replaced. If the maintenance is strong and solid, it will get done in a relatively quick manner, and the resident, even though the situation may have 'sucked' at the time is now happy that the bad situation has been properly resolved.

In my own personal logical conclusions: It is very easy to get somebody to do something; VERY easy. But to get them to do the same thing over and over again is extremely difficult.

In other words, apartment managers have it easy bringing people in to the community. But after five years of living at this community, maintenance has been slow to respond, my kitchen light is still flickering, and I only have five minutes of hot water...do I still want to live here?

What I'm trying to say is that you are bringing people in RZA...keeping them here seems to be a task that I have noticed.

This game totally rules, it shouldn't or won't take more than some incentives to KEEP THEM PLAYING. I'm not alone, bots suck and ruin ratings, so I along with I'm sure many others would like to see an end to them, you can do this too.

I'll be happy to bring ideas if you want me to, I'm after-all, a think-tank .

Keep up the great work!
