There are several topics on how to change the transfer market, this includes changes for the mode of the auctions. And we did not find a single idea, without a downside, so far.

@admin... there is no system of commerce without a downside. The current process of TM is like the Bavarian Alps.

I like the transfer agent idea. There are several sports management sims that use this.

As supporters of said games we have the opportunity to place a maximum fee for a player, leaving the agent a cap to bid on the player while the manager is offline. I noticed that one game charges 5% extra on the transfer fee if using the agent.

If I'm not wrong.

You are suggesting that we should have an automatic bid system like eBay?

If that is the case I say very loudly NO.

If exists a system which allows you to put a maximum bid on a player, it will give more power to those teams who has a lot of money now, and will be very negative to new managers and teams with a low earns.

For example, few days ago, I buyed a young Punter high skilled, with 4'5 talent stars for only 4.000 $. Reason? His bid finished late in the night, so I waited and bid for him on that hour.

With that automatic bid system, simply, this won't happen, I wake up in the morning and make bids for 100 players, I don't care, I have a lot of money to spend and I can afford it. This is fair? NO

Also, you will give more power to those teams that buy a player today and sell him tomorrow twice of his price and people bids for him.

So, if that the suggestion I rejected very clear.

i wouldn't say it was an automatic bid system, but it aids those managers who cannot sit up by a computer waiting until the transfer deadline.

If i was to bid for your punter, and set my agent to a max of $10,000, all that happens is my agent acts as me when im not online, and will better all bids by the required ammount until it goes over the $10,000.

The whole thing about teams with lots of money is going to have an effect on the transfer market anyway, regardless of agents.

I could bid 30 Mio.$ on a player and have nothing to do until the end of the bid and many manager would have no chance to get this player. There are advantages and disadvantages of every system.
