I've recently pulled a 20 year old player in my YA. His age is red, and there's a constant hint reminding me that he's going to leave if I don't act soon.
So when will he become a free agent exactly? Any given time, around season rollover or? |

Thanks for the quick answer!
But this leaves another question: If a 19 year old player in my YA turns 20 on season rollover, can he stay in the academy for another season, or I'll have to act fast on that same season rollover? Or the next one when he'd turn 21? |

A player has his 20th birthday on seasonrollover, and has that new season in the Youth Academy as his last one...he has to leave on his birthday #21

This. Changes. Everything.
So far I've calculated with 4 years in the YA for a 16 year old guy, but this means he'll get 5 years worth of training if I'm not mistaken: 16 to 17 17 to 18 18 to 19 19 to 20 and 20 to 21 My youth players will be freeking monsters by the time they get a shot at the seniors  |
