As I've said, I'm not pointing fingers (but seriously what am I supposed to believe when someone says something and someone else the complete opposite, lying was certainly one of the posibilities)

This was no attack against you sfniner, and it turns out NYB was wrong.

Dude, I live in a house where I have a wife and 3 daughters. I'm used to being "wrong" so I have no issue if I make a mistake. lol. It is all good.

Scouts also influence the quality of our youth pull, don't forget that.

Regarding this suggestion, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but I'm seriously curious how this could screw up the economy in later seasons, when 40ish skill players become more regular. Especially with the drastic increase per level you're suggesting.

I look at it like this. Its just another way to build your organization. If you put your resources into things other than highly paid player personnel then you really dont need those top of the line players to compete.

I look at the Patriots and their spy.. I mean.. camera man.. I mean scouting department. Seems to be working just fine for them.

LOL... a few years back a couple of teams in the NFL accused the Patriots of "spying" with illegally placed cameras and therefore enabling them to learn the other teams signals.

I think it was the Jets taht first accused them but other teams quickly came in backing up the Jets accusation so inorder to sweep it under the rug the Patriots fired the "camera guy" and the NFL commissioner took all the video evidence and burned it before anyone got a chance to see it.

But yeah they won 3 superbowls with subpar athletes on the field...
