What rules do we have (offense): exactly 1 QB and at least 1 FB or HB. Not more than 2 WRs per side. Not more than 1 TE per side, exactly 5 Linemen (OTL-OGL-OC-OGR-OTR). If thats the limitation for RZA, ok, to, bad there are some formations in there that would be really usefull.
Your strong-I formations looks a little off. wouldn´t it be: WRL/OTL/OGL/OC/OGR/OTR/TER/WRR/QB/HBC/FBR or WRL/TEL/OTL/OGL/OC/OGR/OTR/WRR/QB/HBC/FBL |

Maybe in Shotgun 3WR HBC would be better. This formations can be of use too: Wishbone with TE (Strong Wishbone): WRL/OTL/OGL/OC/OGR/OTR/TER/QB/FBC/HBL/HBR If 3 WR set is legal for this engine: Shotgun 3 WR: WRL/WRL1/OTL/OGL/OC/OGR/OTR/TER/WRR/QB/FBC 3 WR 2 B: WRL/WRL1/OTL/OGL/OC/OGR/OTR/WRR/QB/FBC/HBR Defense: Dime (3 DL 2 LB 4 CB 2SF) Nickel: same as 3-3-5, but with 3rd CB instead SS (versus possible 3 WR sets) Last edited on 2012-03-21 09:17:57 by alexshans84 |

In General:
Please avoid formations for the moment: with an overloaded side like 2 WR left, 0 or 1 WR right - exceptions are singlesided RB/FB/TE, and another exception is a single WR on the field Keep the common rules in mind 1QB 1 TE max per side 5 OL 1 out of FB or HB/RB at least on the field max 2 WR per side 3 to 5 DL, balanced 1 or 2 MLB 1 OLB per side 1 or 2 CB per side, but balanced |

Basically, I tried to keep track on that thread - but is somehow impossible. This is why I will close it. I come up with a sticky thread within minutes, where I will sum up some rules, please repost "interesting formations" again there.
