Whats the ideal stadium size? Mine was around 60,000 but I built some more. Is their the possibility that I might overbuild?

There is maximum at 144300 and you should try to built so big stadium as soon as possible to extend your ticket incomes.

Nope. Not at League 1 or 2 level. I watched the biggest stadiums throughout Season 1, when everyone started in League 2, and no one ever had too big a stadium - they always filled to 95+% (more if your PR team is good).

So as rookies we should get to the max of 144,300 first and then worry about coaches, facilities and all that, right?

Yes. If you play "Stadium Tycoon" your finances will be very easy.

But - here are some useful purchases to consider on your way to a full stadium:

- level 20 scout. Really the best way to prepare for the draft is a 20 Scout. If you can time it right, hire him about 3 weeks before the end of your 1st season, and scout all the draftees. Then hold on to him through EOS, and scout all the draftees in the next season. Then, if your economy is not solid, fire him.

- Weight Room facility. You don't need all of them (I still only have 2), but this one is handy at the start, as lots of players will be always be training Strength, Tackling and/or Blocking. Wait until you have added seats a couple of times so you can afford the maintenance on it.

- level 20 PR. Once your stadium reaches 60,000 or so, he'll help fill those empty seats, and pay his own salary.

Try to wait until your 2nd full season before hiring any other staff. By then you should have a good idea how you want to develop your team. Before hiring a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches, spend a little time snooping at the coaching staff of other teams to get some ideas on the various ways to go - and to get a look at some of the salary costs!!

Good luck!

btw - apparently if you actually do the math, a level 20 PR starts to pay for itself at about 30,000 seats (or so I've been told.) Let's see: our PR guy costs $50,000/update. He boosts ticket sales about 10% (maybe a bit more) We'll ignore the ~$90,000 it takes to sign him

10/8/2011 I had a home league game. 20,761 tickets sold with 23,462 seats (No PR dudes) I had $1,213,760 gate receipts.

An extra 10% ticket revenue would give another $121,317 income. Which easily covers his salary ($50k twice a week)

So even if you play all your SuperCup games on the road, you'll still average 1 home league match every calendar week, or every two paydays.

So I'd say by the time you hit 20,000 seats you should be looking at your PR team.
