I think either one way or other no ebay style of biding should be allowed.

If the blind bids come into play what ever you blind bid was place that what you pay if you win. Example if team A place a blind bid of 5m and Team B place only 2k Team A would still pay his 5m.

Plus I hate the ideal of blind bids. Most of my roster was gathered threw the transfer wire at times when few other users where on I would not have half of these guy nearly as cheap as I got them if it was not for this.

I'm not saying there arent drawbacks to the blind bidding but neither of those two arguments are valid IMO. If a manager feels that a player on the market is worth X.. then that player should go for X. Its my belief that managers who habitually overbid for players will really feel it in the long run.

I think after people get accustomed to blind bidding.. the market will eventually work itself out where managers begin to self police themselves (in theory).

Well my argument is vailed point as I put the time to be on here during the closing time of players that I want when I can.

But with that Aside I will quit before I stand for a ebay stly of bidding comes to this game.

So if you all want a blind bit that fine but what ever you place as a bid is what comes out regardless what the next top bid.

So if you put 10m you pay 10m even if the only other bid was 5k

Really this system does nothing to help the cost of players in the market. It is more about trying to "equalize" in theory managers being able to bid on players.

All I know is that an ebay would give older teams way to much advantage over younger teams.

But a true blind bit with only one bid and one bid only could help or could hurt but I can go along with that as it is fair in the way as you pay what ever you put down not what the next best could put down.

P.S I do know that with only a few Million a manage to put together a playoff team. I know for a fact that it would of not been possible under a blind bid or eBay stly of system.

And I hate the idea of repeatedly missing out on players because their deadline have been when I have to sleep, or when I am at work.

What's your solution to allow me a fair crack at the transfer market?

No it would not - it would stabilise the market values by allowing more people to place bids, and therefore encourage more bidding.

Anyway, what about the suggestion to tie salaries into over-bidding and remove the +50% max bid rule?

Yes it would cause older teams have much more money than the fresh teams and you would take the opportunity away from them to snap a player well under his value.

Edit: btw, I fully understand your problem with the current system. I try to think about a solution that could benefit user like you while not punishing the newer teams with less money but are more active to gain an advantage.

Of course the current system can work, it just takes patience.
