Very easy, I think about integrating OpenID and other stuff. By this, you would not have to remember own username/password, much more you authenticate via using your OpenID, Facebook Account, whatever.

Now the question: useful or not?

If you have not heard of such stuff, vote with 1 star.

If you don't like it due security reasons or whatever, vote with 5 stars (IMPORTANT!!). If you don't care...5 stars please.

If you like it, vote with 10 stars.

Thank you

I don't see it as very useful as your browser could remember your username/password by himself...

After that, why not... I don't see security issues with it.

The advantage: the user doesn't have to remember username/password combinations...it is just one click on the confirmation dialogue.

Another one: we don't have to confirm if it is a human or not by using captchas, and we have a valid mail address for the inactivity warning.

I have no idea what this question is asking. If it means I have to sign up to something, then my default answer is No. I'm fed up with a gazzillion different mini bits of software floating around my PC, and 93 different ways to log in to... well, anything really.

But in that case do you need a FB account? or an openID one? (which I don't know about)

No

You can chose between using username/password - as it is today, or OpenID...as you like.

This is why security concerns count as 5 stars

What do I have to click if I don't care?

I think it's a nice extra to have those additional authentication options, although I'm not a big fan of it. For me that would be something within the category 'To implement in cold, long winter nights, when nothing else's to do'

So, I don't see a reason to be against it and will change my vote

Still not convinced by the usefulness of it, but I don't see any security issues with it and if you feel that it's better for the game, go with it!
