I prefer some form of discouragement - for example a tax which decreases with the length of time the player is on your roster, or games played, or training sessions received?
'Daytrading' has been a blight on many an online game ever since they began, and most games end up implementing some form of limitation to discourage it... 1 game I play does not allow you to transfer list a player for 6 weeks after buying him. |

With our economy, why does it matter? "Day trading" isn't worth it here. NO ONE will let you get a draftee type player for cheap enough to turn around quickly enough for a profit.

When I think of a quality manager and well run sports organizations they make sound decisions monetarily knowing bad investments can seriously cripple their franchise. its the give/take of the length of contracts. Its why I'm soft on what managers do if they give their guys single year contracts or are dealing with a player whose deal expires at the end of a season. Most of us sign our star players to long term deals and with good reason but at the sametime if we renege on those type deals we should suffer something (like we do for coaches). oh well. your point is well made.. mine is well made. As of now I dont see this as being that big a deal but in latter stages you never know. Its just throwing out ideas to bring about thought. |

As long as scout reports don't show ! marks I agree with sfniner. If at some point they would be upgraded to show them...well then I really wouldn't care, but until then this suggestion gets 1 star from me.
