In my todays supercup game (Game ID 116240) there was something I don´t understand. It isn´t a complain only a question or maybe a bug.

Please watch this from the game:

5:46 1 and 10 to go on own 24, Luc Richer (P) snaps the ball to Téo Marie (QB), Téo Marie (QB) selected Charlie Morand (TE/R) as target, the pass goes inner right to the receiver, incomplete, he was not able to make the catch, no progress (Pro set vs. 3-4-4)

5:37 2 and 10 to go on own 24, Paul Godin (K) snaps the ball to Axel Delhaye (QB), Romaric Brunel (HB/L) gets the ball, this seems to be a run over the left tackle, Hollis Snowden (DT/L) tackles Romaric Brunel (HB/L), forward progress: no gain (Wishbone vs. 5-3-3)

5:08 3 and 10 to go on own 24, Jonathan Forest (OC) snaps the ball to Téo Marie (QB), Téo Marie (QB) selected Zinedine Mallet (WR/R) as target, Moises Neeley (DE/R) breaks through the line, Lilian Guillon (FB/R) blocks, the pass goes outer right to the receiver, incomplete, he was not able to make the catch, no progress (Shotgun 4 WR vs. Dime 4DL MLB 4CB 2SF)

The question is the OC in those plays. Richer was the normal Punter and Godin the normal Kicker in this team. And if they played in this plays as an OC , why they don´t list as (Godin (OC)) in this play?

Thanks
Kottan

They definatly played as OC, I guess they aren´t on your depth chart listed as OC? So I would say that your players listed as OC had been out of breath so that any other player had to snap the ball. The engine picked your kicker and your punter to do so. I think the game displays the position the player has in your depth chart rather than the position actually played. This would be the only resonable expanation I could give. If thats not true, that is most definatly a bug.

1) If you don't have 55 players on your depth chart the engine fills the spots with players from your roster.

2) If a substitution is needed, because of energy, the engine picks from the depth chart. if non is available, maybe all are exhausted or you set only starters, the engine picks from the other positions.

Same is valid for ingame injuries

Aw, sheet! that would be one example of my many deficiencies as a coach.... I only have a 50 player roster

Looks like it's time to promote some yoofs before they are ready and throw some youth pulls right into the fire

NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you have good young talent, I would just go get some serviceable backups for the tm.

Ahhh, there's the grave that I've dug myself - I've pledged that the Academicals are, and will continue to be a Team only made up of Academy Graduates/draftees.

Like I said, it was just one of MANY mistakes I've made in the game

(but we'll still fight the good fight )

And I still ABSOLUTELY love this game!

But why are there about 10 or 15 ( I dont count) listed as OC and the K and P?

The only explanation is, he filled all O-Liners in the DC as OC, OT and OG. And at the bottom of the OC-Dept Chart he filled his K and P.
But why is he listed as K/P? He plays OC at this play?

If you are set a RB into the KR dept charth, then he is listed as a KR on this play?

I can not answer the question without knowing more about your DC and the injuries that were active at that moment.
