Don´t forget Mike Wallace might be out, too. there is only the first round tender on him cause they couldn´t afford the franchise tag. I as a Eagles fan am excited what they can do with a full offseason. I hope DeSean is back next year with the team, as he is my favorite player right next to McCoy. They have tagged him, but as an Eagles fan you know that this wouldn´t nessesarily mean that he is back with the team. However I don´t think that there is a team out there that would give the Eagles what they want for him and are willing to pay Jackson the money he soughts after. The TAGGING is totally odd at the moment.
It's only a "I want something of value for that guy"-TAG. Yes, many players stay where they are, but many get a new contract and then are shipped. That's not the idea of that TAG. |

But I think the two big stories this offseason will be:
1) Payton Manning, where will he play and will he recover fully from his ingury. 2) How will the Saints be punished. I guess there will be at least a few punishments. |

Just look over at NFL.com there are a few articles about that. Or wait I post the links: Saints Bounty 1 Saints Bounty 2 Sharper denies Bounty |

If the Sainst get punished with some player suspensions, this could effect the free agent market. I think, some player will not sign a new contract in New Orleans, if they are not competitive next season.

Well the punishments will be anounced earliest and of march after the next big owners meeting, so most free agent moves should be done when the punishment will be anounced. |

Thats true, but if free agents know that saints got punishments, then i think they won´t sign in New Orleans |
