This is the most movement I have ever seen in the NFL. I don't know if its the Manning factor that set off a domino effect but so many teams will have completely different looks this season. And we haven't even added all the Draft players.

If I remember correctly, the first few seasons of free agency were pretty crazy. Check out the early rules of Plan B free agency:

"Plan B free agency was a type of free agency that became active in the National Football League in February 1989. Plan B free agency permitted all teams in the NFL to preserve limited rights of no more than 37 total players a season. If a player was a protected Plan B free agent, he was incapable of signing with another team without providing his old team the first opportunity to sign him again. The rest of the players were left unprotected, liberated to negotiate contracts with the rest of the teams in the league."

Imagine 16 players from every team getting the bum's rush every season - that was the first 4 years of free agency for the NFL. Of course, that meant that the other 37 players, especially star players, were stuck with their teams. Plan B free agency came to a screeching halt because of that fact:

"Eight players sued the NFL in U.S. federal court, stating that Plan B was an unlawful restraint of trade. In 1992, a jury found that Plan B violated antitrust laws and awarded damages to the players."

There's a chance Norv Turner will become oc for one of his former backup quarterbacks (Jason Garrett)
Garrett's said he won't give up playcalling though..
