The situation:

A manager using the HR department made a mistake and awarded a 1 million contract/week to a 10 passing QB. Now he sells him on the Transfer Market. A manager not using the HR department is winning the auction.

At the moment the manager has to pay this 1 million per week til next season rollover. Should we change it so on a transfer the wages get recalculated based on the skill-based salaries?

Please vote ...

it should be changed, not only because it might be unfair for a non HR user, but because of your own cheating rules.

There are great way to exploit it as it is. If it stays that way who forbids owners just to use this "feature" to control their target market? If I know that I want to sell a really good player but not to a direct opponent in my division, I could easily make a silly contract for that player to keep that other manager who doesn´t use the HR out of the race for that player.

I have a couple of questions regarding this.

Can this go both ways?

For example, a new draftee usually has a lower weekly wage for the first year. Will this wage stay the same if he is sold and bought on the transfer market?

If the wages gets recalulated based on skills, is there any way that the people bidding could know exactly what the wage is going to be?

If we change it, then the wages get recalculated on each successful transfer, no matter if HR is involved on none, one or both sides of the deal.

The wage block period would remain untouched, but not the wages itself

there is a wage estimation in there already. And yes, people w/o supporter only need to calculate it manually, by the given ranges in the manual

How about adding some code and typing in what the wages will be when he joins your club.

Other games advise what the wage will be.

After all, in real life, you have to negotiate a salary.

Of course, the alternative could be that if you have HR you have to negotiate the wage yourself for the transfer to complete. But that may be more difficult in a non-live sim as you would effectively be in limbo pending log-on by the acquiring manager.

For myself, the logic answer would be "Yes, change it". So please, you "no-Voters", could you explain why you are against it? If you don't like doing this public, just PM me pls.

I voted "no"

Chosing HR gives some benefits financially

But also it gives work to do

As always is say: "do something" to get reward

But as it looks that wage will be recalculated i hope that one thing happens:

For non HR users the wage is calculated EVERY time they buy a new player!!!

Because at the moment when "they" buy a drafte early season they have the benefit for the rest of season of lower salary

If the system works into one direction, it should work also in the other "expensive making" one!

Dear Admin - would interested to read, if its intended to work in both ways!

Thanks in advance

Do you mean: whenever a non HR manager is buying a player, all the wages of ALL players get recalculated?

Whenever a non HR manager is buying a player, for this player when he gets transfered wage is recalculated!

I have a draftee with a ridicoulous 2.777 wage did not raise his main skill level and his "fair salary" would be 9.607 per week

So in case i sell him to a non-HR team, he schould get ~ 9.607 for rest of season

And btw: well your idea is not that bad, sure you could recalculate all the wages - equal for all player in the team, when one gets a raise others should get too
