Yes, we know about this.
Peter has to do some changes in the backend, but he's aware of it 
By the way, this isn't a new feature, this was already in the the frontend of the old design implemented (it was supposed to appear the word 'Online' next to the friends name) but due to the buggy part in the backend it never appeared  |
