I've got this idea from Solana_Steve's post about DT/NT missed tackles being higher than DE missed ones.
Anyway, it would make sense to me to include DC positions in the Team Stats page, or even change the current Pos column into something like DC Pos (but there's room for another column imo). This is especially true for OL and DL players where we've got OC/OG/OT and NT/DT/DE but the same can be said about SS and SF positions too.

So what I was thinking about is changing the current Pos to DC Pos (or have a new column) and having a number to show where the player is in the DC for that position. So something like:
- QB1, QB2...
- RB1, RB2, RB3...
.
.
.
- OC1, OC2...
- OG1, OG2, OG3...
- OT1, OT2, OT3...
- NT1, NT2...
- DT1, DT2, DT3...
- DE1, DE2, DE3...
etc.

Is this possible?

how about if you have an DL playing at both DE and DT? Or what about a Safety playing at both FS and SS?

By using your example, a DL is DE1 and DT4

And the safety is positioned as SS1 and FS2.

So each player will have a different column for each position?

tackles
Name position plays good bad
Theodore Berryman DE1 32 14 6
Theodore Berryman DT4 23 13 2
Sung Daniel FS2 42 7 0
Sung Daniel SS1 15 6 2
Jeremy Devore MLB 60 6 5

so something like this?

Well that would definitely show the manager which position the player is better at.

But I have to admit, I did not think about this...

So yeah, either have this "long version" or have their position show wherever they play the most, since that's probably the main place you want him to play at anyway.

So if the payer is listed higher in one position he'll probably play more than listed lower. A guy being DT1 and DE4 will be listed as DT1 for example.

Even if he's listed on the same number, so like SS1 and FS1, he'll have to play more on one of those positions imo, so list him as that one.

Or just have the names appear only once like now, but the Pos lists all the DC positions, so with your example:

tackles
Name position plays good bad
Theodore Berryman DE1,DT4 55 27 8
Sung Daniel SS1,FS2 57 13 2

but if you would like to have it like you suggested then its pretty much the same as it is now, you get the total of stats that this specific player have done in a game instead of knowing his stats on a specific position..

I never said I wanted something groundbreaking.
I just want to see what positions I assigned the players in my DC on the Team Stats page too.

But seriously there's not much point to divide the stats by DC pos. If you have a guy listed lower in the DC he'll obviously play less on that position, so less stats to compare it with the original. So sure, you can speculate what his stats would be if he played the equal amount of plays on every listed position, which is the only way to compare them and see where the player performs better.

And in the off chance you DO have a player playing the equal ammount of time on more than one position, then you have some serious roster issues to deal with...
