I think this is more a friendly cup thing that can be created as it has to a degree already. Friendly cups can be up to 32 teams and they would include those that are involved and motivated to participate. If you really want to have something like this then make some friendly cups.
The snag with it is the credits, perhaps if there was a designated "country" friendly cup it could have a reduced credit price? |

How about instead of generously gifting managers with credits (as you do sometimes, pete), you set up continental or national friendly cups and invite/assign everyone? That might result in more managers deciding to play in other friendly cups (and more toys for your tots.) |

OK, serious: This means we have to find a slot for these Cups, and the week here in RZA is quite busy, this won't be possible, I am afraid |

oh, I don't think that is necessary. It is up to us, the owners to set up a cup match. I was thinking about a reduced credit amount in terms of when someone sets up a cup they could have a checkbox indicating it was for a country cup.
Another alternative is, if someone is REALLY interested in setting up a cup they could arrange to set up a series of friendlies and keep track of it in the forums under a friendly cup thread. There are ways to accomplish this without making it difficult for our developer. It depends on how motivated you are. |

I have to agree 100%. I've only joined one friendly cup because I have enough to keep me quite busy in RZA already! (plus an online Euro football game and a cycling game) I have a very understanding wife!! |

I bet Sfniner08 regrets letting his -TOG-team go bot especially if Mystic beat him again in their next encounter ..... |
