MOTY is the reason why i will stop playing this game in the future ...
You do your best a whole Season to get to the playoffs, in the first round you have to play an oponent you beat easily during the season. The guy knows he will loose this game so he uses Moty to get another Payday cause its the only way to get money. So what should you do play regular and hope the best or use MOTY to win against a Team that should be no challenge for your Team and get beaten in the next round cause your team gets struked by the penalties for playing moty.... (YES it happend to me last season, got beaten by a Team that used MOTY only to get their a.. kicked in the next round).... But back to topic, just put an point under the flyer Games wit playoffs/league would solve that Problem  |

I'm not going to try to lose on purpose, you can check my games out and see that it is legit. I kind of hope I lose, but I don't naturally like to lose games. Hey, if I win my division that is awesome, but I don't mind getting an extra pay day. Make sense? Malakas and Mystic are both very good so I won't be surprised with a win or loss in either game. Please don't think I am the type to actually lose on purpose.

Are you just ranting about how irritated you are with the whole MOTY thing? Are you serious about not playing? We would hate to lose any valuable owners here! |

I don't want to start world war 3 here (with the fans of MOTY) , but I sort of agree with Tarjan about MOTY. Whilst MOTY is clever, and I can see that in real-life some players/teams/coaches would be really fired up for winning certain games etc ..... I think I see what Tarjan is getting it. Maybe I should start a new thread, but anyway, here's the 2 things about MOTY that I don't like (1) as Tarjan said ... it is possible that some teams use it almost like some kind of "suicide bomb" .. i.e. "I'm probably not going much farther at all in this cup/playoff so I'll use my MOTY as there's not much to lose". (2) In a way MOTY strikes me as being more like Poker than American Football. |
