We restarted the poll since there was a bad mistake in the options. PLease vote again. The change is regarding the option to stick with MOTY, but exclude MOTY from any playoff and bowl games.

I just voted for it to be Kicked altogether.
I used it in a League match today, just to see the difference and I won a match I think I should have lost by at least 20points playing in Normal mode. I know that I am not a particular adept Manager, and it's an unfair advantage in my humble opinion, it definitely feels like a cheat. |

I REALLY should have had a whipping today, and the way I KNOW it feels like a cheat, is that I found it quite amusing (but not particularly exciting) at first.... now I feel pretty cheap. I would be absolutely MAD if I get mugged like that when after all my hard work and struggle when I finally make a Playoff game. |

To me, and just me, MOTY should be equivalent to a huge underdog being able to stay in the game.
Here is what I mean, If both teams in real life are very good then of course both teams are going to go all out. No brainer. If one team is slightly to moderately better than the other the game can still be within reach depending on a few breaks here and there. If one team is vastly superior to the other team then it would make sense that the superior team would be more relaxed while the other team would be more amped up. In a perfect world it would be cool to have MOTY as a tool for you to use if you are a huge underdog to stay in the game. I don't know the indicator, perhaps if your team is behind in ratings by 10%? Maybe it could be a tool that for every percent you are behind in ratings you get a small boost in performance? I don't know, but it should be about the ability of the under dog to rise to the occassion against the mighty goliath. Because, honestly, many here do not need to use MOTY to stay competitive. If that is not possible, any of the options I mentioned, then perhaps it should go....? |

Vote for the first option, not only because I'm conservative. This option was since the beginning and thanks to that play-offs are much more interesting
It's a chance to reduce the differences! And it adds another sense of strategy - use it today or save for tommorrow(which isn't 100% sure we'll be in competition). Without this option play-off won't be needed as winners of regular season will usually go to the finals. The only thing I don't like with MOTY is too big PC loss. |

However, there are several good teams in each league that could go to the playoffs. It isn't a for sure thing. In addition, shouldn't a good team have a better chance because of planning, work and such than a team who isn't? Of course the good teams should get to the finals. The playoffs are about seeing which good team is the best. |

I don´t think that the influence of play MOTY is so critical, at least in my experience play/play against MOTY an obviously superior team also won.
I vote 3rd option, no in playoff. Play those games in itself should be the maximum possible motivation. |

There should be a change it - make it less effective option. More options are usually a good thing as long as they aren't unfair and I think the general idea is a good one and should remain in place during the playoffs. It sounds like the tactic is a little too effective right now if horrible teams are able to beat good teams comfortably now.
