Now just go with me here instead of all these players getting put on the market at pretty much random.

Lets set it up so that player biding would end in one of 4 to 6 time slots lasting 3-2 hours.
So lets just say.
for example that if the time slot would be 5-8am 11-2pm
5-8pm 11-2am by the clock of Redzone gmt

so if you would put your guy up to TM at lets say 815am he would fall in to the 11am-2pm time slot ending 3days later

By putting all the TM players in a predetermined time slot it would help to make the market more predictable and stable in the long run.
But not change the way that the bids extends if a last minute bid is place

I think also doing a poll on what hours people are on here can help in deciding what the time slot should be and how long they should be.

I see no way for this suggestion. This is a world wide game with managers in Australia, Europe and the USA.

The best time for europe might be from 8-10 p.m. CET. This would be 2-4 p.m. ET in the US and most of you are at work. In Austalia it would be 5-7 a.m. and the managers have their breakfast. You will never find the best time and a voting would prefere the largest community.

This is exactly the reason why Free Agents get random deadlines when we put them on the market - I understand the arguments itself, but the downside would be too much, I am afraid

Not if the polls where taking on when the bulk of people are online and. Then put the slot around the times when the most of the users are on

With 4-6 different time slot it would make it easier.

think about this lets say 6 time slot 2hours each that cover 12 hours of the day and at the same time makes the TM more predictable by slumping them to gather in those time slot. Plus this is just for the ending of the biding nothing more.

Or even 4 time slot 2 or 3 hour that 8-12 hours that bibs would end in.

so even 4 time slot means two hours ever quarter of the day the bids would be closing.

But giving it a scheal that happens ever day. People would have more of a chance of getting player as most if not all of you could be on during at lest one of the 4 -6 time slots.

I just think it's a bad idea .... no disrespect intended.
In 2012, we now live in a real 24 hour world, people from all nations are online all the time... I appreciate that some people are able to be online more than others, but that's life.
Personally, I don't like the transfer market myself ....but it does work and it works very efficiently ....I've seen 100's of suggestions for TM changes and all of them would've been backward steps ...this one too unfortunately.

This is just an unfortunate circumstance and something that thousands of online players have had to suffer for awhile if not within or close to US timezone . Although its a hindrance now , I think in the not too distant future with a lot more players joining , there will become an abundance of players available on the TM and it will by become a full , vibrant 24/7 part of RZA .

I have stayed up late, like 1 or 2 am my time (Pacific standard in the USA) thinking I could get this really good guy at a cheaper price because of the time. I was wrong. If the player is really good, people will come out and spend for them. Marginal players? Eh, I think you can get them cheap even at some peak times. I don't see a need to change anything right now.

I wouldn't mind a minor change, such as setting a minimum bid-increase of 5% or 10% once the bidding hits $1,000,000. It speeds things along, and even adds a small tactical element.
