Is there a limit to the number of free agents I can sign a day? I just got the HR department - and I'd like to expand my roster.

Thanks,

Fish

Lokkier is correct, there are only 3 relevant limits :-

70 players on your senior roster
55 players in your depth chart
your Youth Academy limits (depends upon your YA level)

for Free Agents ...there is a 'natural limit' i.e. only a certain number of free agents on the market at any one time, but if you want to sign all of them then you can !

Free Agents that have been 'bid' upon cannot be signed directly to your team.

There is something funny going on here. I found "one" free agent so far this morning that I could sign directly to my team. I am unable to even enter the negotiation process with the vast majority of the Free Agents. (I am careful to not look at those where a bid has been placed)

I am new enough that I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. But I'm new enough that I don't know what that is

If they have less than 24 hours to go on the transfer market and have no bids against them then you can attempt to sign them for free, if it's more than 24 hours or somebody has lodged a bid then it's the normal process i.e. put a bid in for them.

Oh thank you - - I'm sure that is what is going on.
