I know that you cannot train/improve intelligence.

Are there any other skills/characteristics that cannot be trained?
*agility?
*teamwork?

etc. ??

Thanks.

All players will have a cap on speed strength and agility. The capped skill will show up as this ! .

Playing skills are limited by a players talent.

agility can be trained and has also a hidden cap.

So it is untrainable:
Int
Teamwork
Talent

Jack/Pete .... what are the cap low/cap high limits for agility ? ... the manual doesn't give explicit details ..."There is a hidden cap, so the player is limited, and cannot raise his agility to level 50"

Agility seems unloved by the RZA community ...probably because it's not Free like strength & speed

Of course the only way to train Agility is to not train Strength, Speed and PC. So until more players hit their Str/Spd red caps, it is to be expected that Agility won't get as much attention.

Yes and No.
You can train Strength/Speed AND agility all at the same time ...with bonus points in the YA ...if you wanted to do that.

Also, Draft Averages for TE & FB are relatively low for both Str & Sp, and relatively high for Agility (when compared to other positions).... makes me wonder if sacrificing some speed/strength for agility may actually be a smart move.

On the other hand, I could be talking crap. I might start a little experiment by concentrating more on agility for 1 TE & 1 FB to see if I can notice any difference.

I did a nice experiment on the test server:

Build up strength and speed to the caps.
Then trying to cap agility
Then go for the main skills 90% and PC get 10%.

Result: all players I did that with (until I stopped the experiment because of budget issues ) got an agility cap between 35 and 45+.
So it seems the cap range is equal the speed/strength cap range.

And they are doing OK, but not great. So it is definitly the mixture of all skills, which makes a player better.

So now I have lots of expensive players with base skills in the 20s and paying them like they are in the 40s.

That's fascinating ...looks like we all could learn from playing on the test server.

but I need to point out one thing, you say that it seems the agility cap range is the same as the speed/strength cap range ...well, that's not what the manual seems to be saying, here is the quote from the manual ...."There is a hidden cap, so the player is limited, and cannot raise his agility to level 50".

I'm keen to get any further info I can re agility because to quote Sfniner08 "agility seems to be almost like the third wheel" ...I'm wondering if maybe for quite a few specific positions it should be treated more like "the second wheel" even if it means paying the price (in wages..and in sacrificing speed/strength where appropriate).

Well ... this sentence can be interpreted a few ways.
Could that NO player can reach agility level 50, right.
Could also be that it just points out that this is not a regular skill, so you can't train it to 50 as all other regular skills (if you have such talent ...)
Not many players can be trained to speed or strength level 50 eather.

All I can say is, I have a RB which will cap round 45.
And I have NO player under a (projected) 35 skill cap, so it looks like the typical range strength and speed have.
