I noticed a team that had won a trophy (probably Conference Championship) in Season 1, the trophy was listed in the "trophy room" on the Front Office Overview .... but the team had been through many changes of ownership since this season 1 trophy, seems a bit bizarre to me as the trophy wasn't won by the current owner.
Therefore my suggestion is .....only show a Trophy in the Trophy Room if it has been won by the current owner ....when a new manager inherits a team it should show empty in the Trophy Room until a trophy has been won during their current period of ownership. |

I am halfway undecided here.
When the NFL Team XY won the Bowl in 1956, and got new owners meanwhile, the trophies still belong to that team, everyone will say XY, SB Winner '56 |

The team name is different (I guess in most cases the new owner will rename it), the stadium is reset to default and even the team squad is different, so I wouldn't see it as the 'same' team. However, it's possible to argue for both directions and both parties would be "right". It's term of definition |

It somehow feels like a new Franchise. Something to think about: If the old browns had won anything in the past which Team today (ravens/ New Browns) will call those achievements their own??? However, it's possible to argue for both directions and both parties would be "right". It's term of definition I see both points of view, however I'll give you an RZA example to try and illustrate my point ....... Take Notsch's team as the example .... he won many things last season. but ... imagine if his team had gone Bot just before season rollover and therefore been relegated to 2.1/2.2 in the bot flush. A new manager picks up the team , he's got a full trophy cabinet ... but (in my opinion only) this is nuts ! because he's achieved nothing , won nothing and in reality his team is really Team 2.1.25 (or whatever) and not Notsch's old winning franchise. I do see the real life world i.e. San Francisco five times superbowl champions etc etc ... but that is a franchise with continuity ... there is absolutely ZERO continuity in the "franchise" here because it's not a 'franchise', it's more like a 'placeholder'. However, keep the debate going ...I'm always happy to hear the opposing views |

My argument:
The cups are not given to the team, are given to the manager. When the manager is gone, the cups disappear. Simple. |
