Yes and No !
Yes - NT's seem to work OK in -TOG- it's a nice feature that attracts some interest when the World Cup happens No - In some ways, only the NT manager is really involved. There's not much to do if you're not an NT manager. So ... good idea if it's really simple/easy to program .... bad idea if it's complicated/time-consuming to program as it will delay other features/bug-fixes/improvements . |

I think it couldn't be introduced as long as anyone can give his nationality all 3 draft players. It means USA takes ~400 draftees each season, Germany ~180, while Poland or Czech Republic also having top teams take only about 30 draftees(don't say about Norway or Jamaica having only one great team and nothing more). It means more draftees is more players to choose from and this NT will usually win(later always).
