Hi all

As the title suggests I like my autobigraphies. Especially sportsmen/ women.

My latest read was someone by the name of lynne cox who was a swimmer (she swam the english channel as a teenager and also swam in the antarctic sea).

Michael Watsons was a great book but it does break your heart as he tells you what he went through to regain his life after a blood clot on the brain.

Can anyone else reccommend any books?

Big Terry Pratchett fan here. Best i have read was "small gods", but "snuf" was a very close second

Douglas Adams "The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy"

Very funny story in 4 books, that's why it is called a triologie!

Some interesting books there. I usually get through a couple of books a week. I think I should seriously invest in a kindle

I have one, since last October...and I love it. There is a software called Calibri, it converts PDF and stuff into Kindle books for proper display and naviagtion. I don't wanna miss my Kindle ...

You mean Calibre? It's awesome!

I've been able to download all of the Walking Dead stuff, the first four books of Game of Thrones, and the 50 Shades trilogy so far. Calibre converts and puts it on my Kindle perfectly.

With all those cycling autobiographies, you need a cycling game:

Bob Roll has a couple cycling books out, too. He has a lot of good stories.

A must read for American football fans is Conrad Dobler's They Call Me Dirty. He probably is the dirtiest player in NFL history, and he's proud to be that guy. He was the kind of player you loved - if he played for your team.

You may also want to try Ken Stabler's biography, Snake, about Stabler's days in college and pro football.
