In my league, the AC South played all the teams in the NC East in season 3. Now that the season 4 schedules are out, the AC South are again playing the NC East.

At least the way the NFL does it, the inter-conference schedules rotate from year to year, so season 3 the NC East would play all the AC South teams, then season 4 it would play all the AC East and in season 5 it would play all the AC North teams etc. This way, you play all the teams in the other conference every 4 seasons.

Once upon a time back in February

I don't know how difficult is to set some rotation in league schedule. But for me it would be nice addition. As now we have almost the same opponents every season. Schedule like in NFL would be optimal in my opinion.

I did not include that rotation, since the match scheduling is an already complicated task due the stupid NFL ruling...having rotation would make it more complicating, without a real benefit except "would be nice"

No, I will add kindof a rotating scheduling, but not fully NFL compliant. There was no time to add it before the teststages season rollover ran, and I did not like it to run it without any testing.

The NFL scheduling is very complicated…they take the record of teams from the previous year and actually make the schedules for good teams more difficult the following year. Perhaps this is unfair, but it produces marquis matchups every week for national television games/Monday night football etc.

I can totally understand implementation complexity. It would be nice at some time in the future if the division matchups would rotate. After only a few seasons in Galaxy 1.1, it’s not a real issue. However, if I’m in Galaxy 1.1 for 20 seasons, playing one division for 20 seasons without every playing the other three division would probably become somewhat of a drag.
