This is my protest against the news of increasing the physical condition hit to players 30+. This is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG and is gonna to do a lot of harm to the game.
First of all the age should probably start at 35 not 30. Players are really hitting their prime at 30 now to hit them for it makes no sense. Sorry Kurt Warner, your too old go hit the golf links! Funny, look around all the best NFl players are 30+! Games, Gonna make players choose which league they want to compete in. Super Cup or League. Seeing that League is more important, Super Cup just became exabeitions or Friendly’s. Why play my best and over 30 players in a meaningless game? Some coaches only want older players. Not sure about here but in NFL coaches like Bud Grant and George Allen only went after older players. AND WON I might add. Economic impact. Probably just destroyed the 30+ xfer market. Why sign them now? For new teams the 30+ was a chance to get a decent player for a couple of years. Without knowing how much of a hit the 30+ guy is gonna get it makes this a BIG financial risk for players new and not much money. The older teams will now start hording ALL the young talent that hits the xfer market. Bad enough as it is. Too bad the new players will be shut out of the 20-27 year old player market. I think this is a very, very bad turn of events. We should have been given a season notice before it happened as well. [Glad I got that new LB in the draft, not the waste I thought it was yesterday!] Oh well, time will tell. Just my 2 cents on the matter. |

Agree .....in 2 respects.
A season's advance notice would have been nice, gives a chance to rebalance your roster. The Transfer market is Nuts already, the bottom did just fall out of the 30+ market. one point ....I'm sure the notice reads 30+ ...so, just to check .... this doesn't apply to 30 year old players, is that correct ? lol ...just had a thought ...I used to hope that on season rollover my 30 year old players didn't announce their retirement, now it's the opposite ! |

FYI I’m way past 30+ and can still pin my teenager in wrestling, so I also want to proclaim age discrimination in standing up for the rights of my fellow electron grandpa’s on RZA!

Don´t understand what is the problem here with the hit?
My 30+ guys who played today in the friendly have still 100% PC. So the hit is maybe a little bit higher than for other younger player but not that big that you have to train PC every week. Maybe you can give me an example why 30+ guys should be so unimportant now. Maybe my players had to less plays today. |

No offense, but sounds like overreacting to me.
age 30+ players still get full training here, unlike gi and Buzzerbeater where trainng is zero for them. A small downside like PC makes sense to me. I'm keeping my old geezers as long as they still contribute to my team. Last edited on 2012-05-18 16:30:45 by ombi |

I think there is nothing wrong with this. The higher PC hit will only slow down the trainingprogress a little bit, because you must recover the PC more often. In some Seasons all players are capped in Physicals and may be agility. Than you have to train a minimum of 10% every update. With 30+ they must train a litte bit more than 10% - may be 50%. So the increase of the non physical skills would be 0,3 instead of 0,6. If the player is great he will still perform well in the games.
